Restaurant Manager – Established Jewish Deli
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our well-established Jewish deli.
This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a loyal customer base, where quality, consistency, and exceptional service are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee all front and back-of-house operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
– Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong relationships with regular guests.
– Lead, train, and motivate staff to uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
– Manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance.
– Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet established standards.
– Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
– Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
– Coordinate with the kitchen and ownership on menu execution and daily specials.
– Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of restaurant management experience (high-volume experience preferred).
– Strong leadership and team-building skills.
– Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
– Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
– Knowledge of deli-style service and Jewish cuisine is a plus but not required.
– Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented.
