Overview
The Bryan School of Business and Economics is seeking qualified applicants for two tenure-stream positions at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Management and/or the Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and Tourism, beginning August 1, 2027. The positions can be in the areas of Management, Marketing, Innovation, or Strategy, but the central expectation is a focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence in both their instruction and research.
While these are discipline-specific faculty positions, successful candidates are expected to demonstrate the capacity to integrate artificial intelligence meaningfully into their teaching and research. The School is especially interested in candidates whose expertise will strengthen departmental teaching and research needs while also contributing to the Bryan School’s broader capacity to prepare students and faculty to understand, evaluate, and use AI tools responsibly and effectively. Once established, these faculty are expected to serve as a resource to enable other faculty to increase the infusion of artificial intelligence in the curriculum.
The University emphasizes high-quality in research and teaching, and teaching responsibilities will primarily be at the undergraduate level and will include both online and face-to-face instruction. Service to the University and to the academic and/or practicing professions is also expected.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants should hold a Doctorate from an AACSB- or EQUIS-accredited school with a specialization in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Evidence of engagement with artificial intelligence, which may include research, teaching, coursework, professional experience, curriculum development, applied projects, or other demonstrated uses of AI tools or methods.
- ABD candidates who expect completion by August 1, 2027 may be considered.
