Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date August 10, 2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $1,863-$1,964 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts with a 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. schedule and a call requirement on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Setting: hospital operating room, with a focus on neuro and ortho cases, including robotics as needed.

Responsibilities
– Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR for neuro and ortho cases, with robotics occasionally used
– Prepare the OR, assist surgeons, maintain sterile technique, and perform instrument counts
– Monitor patient status and vital signs during anesthesia, manage positioning, and support safe emergence
– Document intraoperative care and events in the Cerner EMR with accurate, timely charting
– Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and scrub staff to optimize patient outcomes
– Support case turnover and patient transport while maintaining aseptic technique

Requirements
– Active Georgia RN license
– BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
– Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience, with neuro and ortho expertise; robotics experience preferred
– Cerner EMR experience
– Ability to work a 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. schedule with weekend call (Sat/Sun/Mon)
– Willingness to travel as part of a travel assignment
