We are looking for a high-performing leader to join our restaurant as a General Manager.
The ideal GM is passionate about hospitality, has a high level of integrity, and is able to balance hands-on, floor-focused management with essential administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities include overseeing Front of House and Back of House operations. Driving profitability while ensuring exceptional guest service. Recruiting and training staff, controlling food and labor costs, managing inventory, and maintaining strict safety/sanitation standard.
Core Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality service,, and smooth workflow between FOH and BOH.
- Financial Performance: Maximize profits by managing budgets, controlling food/beverage costs, reducing waste, and increasing sales.
- Team Development: Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring professional growth.
- Customer Experience: Proactively engage with guests, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high standards to drive customer loyalty.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local sanitation standards).
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Leadership: Strong ability to motivate teams and make data-driven decisions.
- Financial Literacy: Proficiency in managing profit and loss (P&L) statements, payroll, and inventory systems.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with POS systems, restaurant management software, and MS Office.
