Pastry Cook

Full-Time | Tuesday–Saturday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Beezoo, a busy Los Angeles catering company, is looking for a Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team.

We’re looking for someone with some professional pastry or baking experience who has a good foundation and wants to continue developing their skills. You do not need to be an experienced pastry chef, and this is not a lead position. We’re happy to train the right person.

Our pastry team produces desserts and baked goods for our daily catering menus and events. The work is hands-on, fast-paced, and varied, with a mix of daily production and larger special-event projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing desserts and baked goods for daily catering production
• Scaling, mixing, baking, portioning, and finishing recipes
• Assisting with cakes, cookies, bars, pastries, breads, and other rotating menu items
• Packaging and organizing finished products for daily jobs
• Helping with larger production and special events
• Keeping the pastry area clean, organized, and ready for production

What we’re looking for:

• Some professional pastry, bakery, restaurant, or culinary experience
• Basic understanding of baking and pastry techniques
• Comfortable following recipes and working with weights and measurements
• Organized and able to work efficiently in a production environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Food Handler Certificate or ability to obtain one

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Compensation: $22–$27/hour, depending on experience
Location: Los Angeles, CA

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has some pastry experience but is looking for a place to learn, grow, and get a lot of hands-on production experience.
