GENERAL MANAGER — HIGH-VOLUME BAR-CENTRIC RESTAURANT

Location: Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our fast-paced, high-volume, bar-centric restaurant and bar in Eagle Rock. 

About the Role

Managing the day-to-day operations of a high volume bar and restaurant in a loud, fast-paced, environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operations: Direct all front-of-house and bar workflows, ensuring high-speed service, strict quality control, and an unforgettable guest experience during peak-volume rushes.  Co-ordinate with back-of-house team for on-time ordering, execution and quality control.
• Financial:  Track daily numbers, managing labor percentages, controlling COGS and executing strategic cost controls.
• Bar & Inventory Management: Oversee high-volume liquor, beer, and wine inventories, ordering, vendor relationships, tap/cocktail specs and cost audits
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and inspire a large crew of high-performing bartenders, support staff, and FOH teams. Lead by example on the floor during high-impact shifts.
• Compliance: Maintain total adherence to California health codes, ABC liquor regulations, and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of General Manager experience running a high-volume, fast-paced, bar-centric restaurant or hospitality concept.
• Beverage Acumen: Deep, proven expertise in high-volume draft, cocktail, and wine program management, inventory systems, and loss prevention.
• Financial Literacy: Demonstrated history of managing P&L statements, labor optimization, and hitting financial targets.
• Presence: A visible, resilient leader with high emotional intelligence who thrives under intense pressure and late-night weekend volumes.
• Certifications: Valid ServSafe Manager certification and California RBS certification (or ability to obtain immediately).

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Based on experience ($90,000 – $100,000)
