Snapshot / Role Overview

We're looking for a Commercial HVAC Service Technician in the Los Angeles area to keep critical building systems running at peak performance for a mechanical service contractor.

Impact

• Keep commercial HVAC reliable so facilities stay comfortable and open.
• Reduce downtime with strong preventive maintenance and fast diagnostics.
• Protect client relationships with professional, on-time service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial equipment including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on packaged units, split systems, and controls.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and airflow issues in the field.
• Document findings and keep customers and dispatch informed.

Must-Haves

• Three or more years of commercial HVAC service.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Strong diagnostics across rooftop units, chillers, and boilers.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Nice-to-Haves

• OSHA 10 or 30.
• Building automation or DDC controls experience.

Compensation and Logistics

Competitive salary depending on experience. Health insurance, PTO, holidays, a company vehicle, and ongoing training. Field-based in the Los Angeles area.
