Compensation: $85,000 – $95,000 / year

Magnolia House is Pasadena’s favorite neighborhood restaurant and craft cocktail bar, known for our vibrant, welcoming atmosphere and thoughtfully curated menu. We specialize in elevated American dishes infused with Mediterranean influences. We are looking for an experienced, creative, and inspiring Chef De Cuisine to take the reins of our kitchen, drive menu innovation, and mentor a hard-working team that is eager to grow.

As Chef De Cuisine, you will step directly into a leadership role where your culinary vision and kitchen management skills can shine. You will balance hands-on line leadership with creative development, maintaining our high standard of quality while steering the kitchen’s daily operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume, professional kitchen.

• Culinary Expertise: Strong background or deep interest in American and Mediterranean-influenced cuisine.

• Creativity: Enthusiasm for taking on creative responsibilities, developing seasonal specials, and refining menu offerings.

• Leadership & Mentorship: A strong, collaborative leader who brings positive energy, clear communication, and a passion for teaching a team that is eager to learn.

• Kitchen Management: Proven track record with inventory control, food cost management, labor scheduling, and maintaining strict sanitation standards.
