Drive occupancy and revenue by targeting corporate, project-based, and relocation clients through relationship-building, market analysis, and strategic sales plans, focusing heavily on securing long-term contracts, managing online presence, and coordinating with hotel operations for seamless guest experiences, often requiring significant field sales and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Promotion: Develop promotional materials, manage social media, create email campaigns, and drive content for event awareness.
  • Sales Alignment: Identify opportunities for sales engagement, support lead capture.
  • Execution & Analysis: Monitor event execution, resolve issues, collect feedback, analyze performance metrics (attendance, leads), and report on success.
  • Negotiate contracts, build relationships with suppliers, and ensure seamless coordination with internal teams.
  • Experience: Proven event planning, marketing, and sales support experience, with a focus on driving measurable business results.
  • Targeted Digital Marketing: Optimize for local SEO (e.g., “extended stay (city) corporate housing”), use paid ads, and maintain active social media to showcase amenities.
  • Content Marketing: Create blog posts or guides on relocation, local business/hospital info to attract searchers.
  • Local Partnerships: Collaborate with hospitals, construction companies, relocation services, and corporate HR for referrals.
  • Direct Outreach: Sales teams need to visit local businesses, construction sites, and training centers to build relationships.
  • Value Proposition: Emphasize cost savings (weekly/monthly rates), home-like amenities (kitchens), and safety/social distancing benefits.
  • Corporate Accounts: Develop tailored packages and rates for long-term business travelers.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong ties with travel managers, HR departments, and local event organizers.
  • Channel Management: Work with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) but also drive direct bookings for better margins.
  • Sales Approach: More B2B (business-to-business) and community-focused, less reliant on transient leisure bookings.
