Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical design and integration of missile launchers, weapons hardware, and mission systems
• Architecting structural frames, mounts, mechanisms, and enclosures for high shock and vibration environments
• Developing detailed 3D CAD assemblies and interface control documentation for system level integration
• Supporting prototyping, qualification testing, and transition from development into production
• Leading mechanical integration activities with cross functional engineering, manufacturing, and platform teams

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience designing missile, rocket, launcher, or defense platform mechanical systems
• Strong CAD expertise with large assemblies using SolidWorks or similar platforms
• Experience with structural analysis methods including hand calculations or FEA
• Knowledge of ruggedized military hardware design and environmental qualification standards
