Position
Keck School of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine is looking for a full‑time Clinical Instructor. Candidates should be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and demonstrate excellence in training and patient care. The appointment is appropriate to the level of training and experience and includes competitive salary and university benefits.
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000-$150.000.
Duties – Nurse Practitioner
- Under general supervision and in accordance with standardized procedures, perform physical examinations and treat common episodic and chronic health care problems.
- Counsel patients and families, monitor patient progress, assist with medical research appropriate, but retain responsibility for ongoing clinical management of the patient.
Duties – Physician Assistant
- Perform diagnostic, therapeutic, preventative and health maintenance services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician.
