Locations: Los Angeles (Koreatown), Commerce, & Van Nuys, CA

Schedule: 12-hour Shifts

  • 8pm – 8am
  • 8am – 8pm

Base Pay: $17.82/hour | OT: $26.73/hour

Make a meaningful impact while building a long-term healthcare career. We’re hiring Medical Assistants for our residential treatment programs in Los Angeles County area, who are working through mental health challenges, eating disorders, and substance use recovery.

This is a great opportunity for Medical Assistants who want hands-on experience in behavioral health, adolescents or adult care, and residential treatment environments. You’ll work closely with therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, and educators to support client safety, daily routines, and medical needs.

What You’ll Do

• Take and record vital signs, complete drug screenings, and document medical updates
• Administer medications according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Provide one-on-one supervision for clients with elevated safety or behavioral concerns
• Monitor client behavior and communicate changes to treatment staff
• Maintain accurate medical records, shift logs, and documentation
• Coordinate medical appointments with outside providers
• Support a safe, structured, therapeutic environment
• Participate in ongoing training, development, and team collaboration

• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or high-stress situations
• Experience taking vitals, administering medications, and maintaining confidentiality
• Comfortable providing structure, supervision, and supportive boundaries

Qualifications – Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Diploma & Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited program
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass background and fingerprint clearance

Preferred:
• One year of experience in healthcare, residential treatment, or behavioral health
• Experience working with adults
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and dual diagnosis support
