OyBar is looking for an enthusiastic host/cocktail server to join our fast paced team!
Recently named to Eater’s 38 Essential Los Angeles Restaurants, OyBar features modern bar/bistro food served in a 1970s vintage neighborhood bar. Our beverage and cocktails program celebrates the comfort and familiarity of the neighborhood bar through the global lens of LA.
Our food is rooted in our Chef’s Jewish-American traditions and inspired by his love the cultural and culinary diversity of Los Angeles. Loved by Infatuation, the LA Times, Eater, and more – OyBar is an innovative and welcoming environment for staff and patrons alike.
This is a lively, supportive, fun, fast-paced restaurant where someone with a collaborative spirit, passionate creativity, and a can-do attitude will thrive.
We’re looking for a host can bring a positive and engaging attitude to the floor while managing a busy walk ins only door.
Responsibilities include:
– Greeting and seating guests
– Handling high volume traffic with grace and positivity
– Managing the waitlist through the Resy App or others
– Taking cocktail orders for guests waiting, when appropriate
– Bussing, resetting tables, and supporting on the floor
– Running food and drinks
– Multitasking
We are currently open Tuesday-Saturday and are open to both part time and full time employment, however Friday and Saturday availability is mandatory.
