KiQ is accelerating its expansion across the US. We are looking for a front-facing Business Development Partner who can help us open meaningful doors on the ground.

This is not traditional, transactional sales. It is strategic relationship building combined with real opportunity creation. You will represent KiQ in market conversations, translate our positioning into the local business context, and help generate new revenue pathways through direct engagement.

KiQ is a Tokyo-based creative and innovation firm working at the intersection of AI, embodied experience, and strategic design.

We collaborate with global enterprises to design next-generation customer experiences, physical AI integrations, brand strategy, and experiential innovation. Our work spans AI-driven product development, spatial design, and cultural experience design—grounded in Japanese sensibility and executed for global markets.

As we expand overseas, we are building trusted local partnerships that can translate this positioning into real business opportunities.

What you will do:

• In-Person Engagement: Join and accompany our team in meetings with target companies, including local car travel.
• Strategic Communication: Lead client discussions, participate in online meetings, and support direct negotiations.
• Opportunity Creation: Identify and qualify high-value opportunities aligned with KiQ’s long‑term growth.
• Market Intelligence: Share insights on target companies, specific sectors, and local business dynamics.

Who we’re looking for

You understand how business decisions are made locally. You can read a room, build credibility quickly, and move conversations toward tangible outcomes.

• Experienced: Background working with North American companies at an executive level.
• Communication: Native or near-native English proficiency; Japanese skills are preferred but not required.
• Presence: Confident in high-level conversations and available for in-person meeting support.

Compensation and Engagement

• Rate: JPY 5,000 to 10,000 per hour.
• Trial Period: Initial engagement of approximately 10 hours to ensure a mutual fit.
• Long‑term: Ongoing collaboration may follow based on results and chemistry.
