The Business Development Director role is a key growth-focused position, responsible for driving and executing strategies to acquire new clients across various industries. This is a pure new‑logo sales role focused on hunting and expanding business with net‑new accounts. The individual will leverage the full portfolio of digital, technology, and consulting services while collaborating with market development teams, solution experts, and industry SMEs to generate demand and convert qualified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the new‑logo sales process end‑to‑end, including identification, qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve growth targets by originating new opportunities, acquiring new clients, and leading proactive demand‑generation initiatives.
  • Deliver consultative, value‑based selling and provide thought leadership to prospects throughout their buying journey in the CPG sector.
  • Present solution capabilities and benefits through in‑person meetings, industry conferences, and virtual presentations.
  • Create and shape new business opportunities, including large transformational deals within the CPG vertical.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business landscape, challenges, and trends in the CPG industry.
  • Leverage the broader ecosystem of offerings, partners, and internal teams to structure innovation‑led engagements for new clients.
  • Deliver measurable business impact for clients through the organization’s portfolio of technology, digital, and consulting services.
  • Build and nurture cross‑functional CXO‑level relationships to enhance market presence and create long‑term momentum in target markets.

Qualifications

  • 12–15 years of overall sales experience with significant exposure to the CPG industry.
  • Experience working in a leading IT services or consulting organization with demonstrated ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Direct industry experience working within CPG organizations is desirable.
