About the Relaunch

The Holloway is back. We’re relaunching as a high-energy American bar and restaurant in the heart of Echo Park, serving bold brunch, elevated comfort food, and late-night bites that hit just right. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and guests
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Interact with guests, taking orders and serving food and drinks
• Assess bar guests needs and preferences and making recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized bar
• Check guests identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Secondary Responsibilities (Support):

• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Performs side work as needed/directed

Qualifications:

• MUST have serving and bartending experience
• Maintain a level of professionalism with all customers, faculty and staff
• Be knowledgeable on menu composition, daily specials and bar items
• Keep a tidy, pristine and hygienic appearance at all times
• Be able to carry and deliver food trays 
• Must be Food safety certified 
• Have experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Well versed in customer service
• Preferred Toast POS experience
