Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrative Assistant who is fluent in both Japanese and English. This role plays a key part in supporting our operations, communicating with international partners, and maintaining efficient day-to-day administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, cultural fluency, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Los Angeles office, including scheduling, document preparation, and filing.

  • Serve as a liaison for Japanese-speaking vendors, customers, and internal staff, ensuring clear and professional communication.

  • Translate business documents and communications between Japanese and English as needed.

  • Coordinate logistics for shipments and assist with inventory tracking.

  • Support purchasing, invoicing, and data entry in coordination with the company's accounting and operations teams.

  • Assist in maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment.

  • Handle other duties as assigned in support of overall office efficiency and team goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Japanese and English (verbal and written) is essential.

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative or office support experience, preferably in a logistics, distribution, or international business environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity when dealing with international partners.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in seafood, food distribution, or import/export operations.

  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
