A venture-backed AI security SaaS company is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support the design and development of AI-powered applications used by enterprise security teams. This role focuses on building scalable, user-facing software that enables organizations to shift from reactive threat response to proactive threat prevention through intelligent automation.

You will work on modern, cloud-based applications that power security operations for Fortune 500 customers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, production-ready solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript, enjoys ownership in a fast-growing SaaS environment, and is comfortable working within modern cloud and DevOps ecosystems. Experience with AI integrations (Claude, Anthropic, Gemini) is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin (Spring Boot).
• Build and enhance user-facing applications using JavaScript and modern frontend technologies.
• Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs and scalable service architectures.
• Design and optimize data storage solutions using PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications in AWS environments.
• Work with Kubernetes and Terraform to support infrastructure-as-code and containerized deployments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing and deployments.
• Collaborate using Git-based workflows and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality engineering standards.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to AI-driven feature development and integrations where applicable.

Offer

• Base Salary: $165,000 – $175,000 + Equity
