Position Overview
The Global Brand Marketing Manager helps shape the global marketing strategy and execution. This role is an integral part of the K18 Marketing Team, bringing our mission to life and inspiring communities worldwide. The position offers full visibility of K18 launches from concept to go‑to‑market execution, including campaign planning and strategy, product ideation, positioning, timelines, and project management. It requires strong interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate loves learning science, the professional stylist universe, and its strategic role in the K18 community.
Key Responsibilities
Product
- Support marketing for all new product development and existing product re‑supports
- Translate consumer insights, trend analysis, and competitive research into product strategy and storytelling
- Lead the claims process, owning claims documents, conducting competitive claims insight analysis, concepting key marketing claims, and prioritizing between requested claims
- Own the marketing section of product briefs for each new product, kit, and size variations
- Lead presentations including gate slides, positioning decks, claims, and partner shareouts
- Oversee FAQ development for every launch
- Own the COGs process
Go To Market
- Support the GTM process for all marketing activities, including campaign ideation, timeline management, and cross‑functional alignment
- Develop and manage the 360 Launch deck process, budget tracking documents, retailer presentations, and brand shareouts
- Support campaign strategy and briefs, developing cohesive campaigns that ladder back to the overall brand strategy
- Own the marketing calendar and related documents
- Alongside the assistant managers, maintain all go‑to‑market tracking documents, including asset checklists, timelines, overview presentations, and recaps
- Lead campaign post‑mortems, gathering insights to impact future campaign development
Project Management and Department Collaboration
- Lead daily project management of marketing aspects of launches and campaigns, owning timelines, creating briefs, leading and recapping meetings, and organizing documents
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on priorities, milestones, and changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Work closely with, and serve as the daily contact for projects with all cross‑functional groups, including R&I, creative, packaging, ops, sales, consumer engagement, and education
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal cross‑functional teams and support groups as a flexible team player
Insights
- Monitor product performance and consumer sentiment to refine messaging and identify optimization opportunities
- Lead insights work for product concepts and campaigns
- Support segmentation and brand health insights analysis
Qualifications
- 6+ years experience working within a global capacity for a CPG brand
- Experience in beauty marketing, with experience with professional stylists a plus
- Previous experience managing the go‑to‑market process from product conception through to launch, cross‑functional alignment, and creative briefing
- Natural storyteller who understands the brand DNA, voice, and aesthetics
- A genuine passion for the brand, mission, customer, and products
- Strategic and innovative thinker
- Minimum education level: bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work in a remote/home office and to travel for off‑site events (travel up to 5–10%)
Salary Range
up to $100-120k
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
