JOB PURPOSE
Maintains sales and administrative operations for Japanese auto maker’s trading business development projects in the Central American/Caribbean market.
PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- TRADING AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT CONTROL AND EXPORT DOCUMENTATION
- Acts as a customer service contact for coordinating and documenting activity relating to parts order from established xxx Dealers/Distributors outside the United States.
- Prepares shipping/export documents such as packing lists/invoices/delivery orders
- Collection of funds and tracks open orders and balances.
- Coordinates transportation and creates export documentation as needed.
- Maintains customer accounts updated.
- Responsible for A/R collections and tracking customer credit balance.
- Summarize delivery activities and propose ideas to improve the delivey leadtime, reduce costs.
ACCOUNTING ENTRIES
- Organize shipping documents, for accounting entries.
- Making entries of sales/purchases based on the shipping documents.
- Month End Reconciliations including but not limited to purchase payables with Isuzu, and sales receivables/advance payment balance from customers.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Assist appropriate internal colleagues with new business development projects as well as participating in new system development.
- Generates weekly and monthly reports as needed.
