  • Lead the preparation and review of sophisticated individual returns, providing strategic income tax and financial planning support.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and tax professionals to strengthen client relationships, enhance service delivery, and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to manage expectations, meet critical deadlines, ensure satisfaction, and guide change initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements focused on partnership and individual taxation.
  • Prepare year-end tax projections and conduct in-depth research across a broad range of technical tax areas.
  • Mentor and develop associates by providing technical training, performance feedback, and ongoing professional guidance.
  • Deliver clear, confident communication through strong written and verbal presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of public accounting experience.
  • Broad, in-depth knowledge of tax law, with expertise in areas such as partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, corporations, pass-through entities, estates and gifts, investment advisory, or financial planning.
  • Ability to prepare working trial balances and year-end adjusting entries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
  • CPA certification required.
  • Strong technical proficiency in tax preparation, review, compliance, and research.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and CCH Axcess.
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, and relationship-building abilities.

Compensation
