Senior Business Analyst – Turning Ideas into Game-Changing Solutions

Ready to Bridge Business Needs and Winning Strategies?

Imagine this: You’re the person who turns visionary ideas into practical, well-defined solutions that drive the largest regulated online gaming platform in the U.S. As our Senior Business Analyst, you’ll partner directly with our President, COO, and cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into clear requirements and ensure solutions deliver measurable impact.

You’ll be at the center of the action — facilitating conversations between business leaders and technical teams, mapping processes, defining requirements, and making sure every project moves from concept to completion with clarity and precision.

This is not a back-office role. You’ll see your work come to life in real time, shaping product decisions, player experiences, and operational strategies across 18 states.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the Strategic Connector
    • Partner with leadership to understand business goals and translate them into actionable project requirements.
    • Turn ambiguous problems into clear analytical and functional frameworks.
    • Serve as the go-to resource for understanding what the business really needs and ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate and Document with Precision
    • Lead requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
    • Document current and future state processes using clear process maps, workflows, and user stories.
    • Define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure Solutions Deliver Value
    • Collaborate with BI, engineering, marketing, and product teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and are user-friendly.
    • Conduct impact analysis on proposed changes, including cost, benefit, and risk assessments.
    • Support testing and UAT by validating that solutions meet requirements before launch.
  • Navigate the Regulated Gaming Landscape
    • Ensure all solutions meet the unique compliance requirements of regulated gaming.
    • Partner with compliance teams to maintain data security and regulatory standards.
  • Build Relationships Across the Organization
    • Act as a trusted liaison between business and technical teams.
    • Balance competing priorities while keeping projects on track and stakeholders informed.

What You Bring to the Game

  • Must-Haves:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years in a Business Analyst or similar cross-functional role (experience in tech, gaming, or startups is a plus).
    • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
    • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart).
    • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, concise documentation and presentations.
    • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Understanding of BI concepts and tools (Tableau, Power BI) to communicate effectively with analytics teams.
    • Experience working in regulated industries.
    • Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with user story creation and backlog refinement.
  • Mindset We Love:
    • Startup hustle — you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
    • Curiosity about gaming — you want to understand what makes players tick.
    • Collaborative spirit — you work well with everyone from engineers to executives.
    • Security-first thinking — you naturally consider data protection in every solution.

The Reality Check (Working Conditions)

  • Physical setup: Primarily computer-based work (up to 8+ hours/day), with flexibility to work remote or in-office.
  • Mental environment: High-energy startup pace with the precision of a regulated industry. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
  • Gaming responsibility: Champion responsible gaming practices, ensuring solutions support both business growth and player well-being.
