Supply Chain Solution Architect

We are on the lookout for two senior Supply Chain Architects for a major apparel retailer with deep expertise in modern warehouse and distribution center systems. This role focuses on designing scalable, efficient supply chain technology solutions that support automation, robotics, and end-to-end fulfilment optimization. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically versatile, and comfortable interacting with technology stakeholders representing various business needs. This opportunity requires a generalist mindset, someone who can contribute across multiple enterprise domains as priorities shift.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, integrated supply chain solutions, with a strong focus on warehouse systems, automation, and distribution center modernization.
  • Translate operational goals into actionable technical architecture by engaging with cross-functional tech stakeholders.
  • Lead design and integration efforts across systems such as Blue Yonder, FDM4, SAP S4/HANA (ERP), Accutech, Locust (Robotics), Andromeda (PLM) and Paccurate (Carton optimization).
  • Ensure high-performance, resilient solutions using modern technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support successful implementation across warehouse and logistics platforms.
  • Maintain architectural alignment with enterprise standards while supporting multiple, concurrent initiatives.
  • Contribute to domains beyond the supply chain, depending on evolving business priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solutions architecture, with strong exposure to warehouse, logistics, or supply chain systems.
  • Familiarity with modern warehouse and fulfilment technologies, including automation and robotics.
  • Experience with one or more tools in the tech stack: Blue Yonder, FDM4, Accutech, Locust, Paccurate.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical direction and drive consensus.
  • Comfortable operating in a contract or consulting environment with shifting priorities and fast-moving projects.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in the apparel or retail industries is helpful but not required.
  • Knowledge of HR and Finance systems.
  • Experience designing or integrating warehouse automation platforms.
  • Ability to contribute to enterprise-level initiatives outside of the supply chain, including broader system architecture.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
