Function/Duties of Position
The Division of Pediatric Neurology provides clinical care to pediatric patients within Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, a 151‑bed hospital‑within‑a‑hospital associated with OHSU, and a member of NACHRI, as well as Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Outpatient Clinics. This position is expected to provide comprehensive evaluation and management of children and adolescents with headache disorders, including migraine and complex headache syndromes, while maintaining a general pediatric neurology practice. The candidate will contribute to the growth and innovation of the Pediatric Headache Program, assume a portion of night and weekend on‑call service, participate in educational endeavors for medical students, residents and clinical care teams, and be encouraged to engage in translational research and clinical trials. The majority of clinical service will be delivered in outpatient clinics or virtually, and the role may involve consulting to other inpatient services as needed.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have an MD or DO, be eligible for licensing in Oregon, hold a DEA certificate, and be board certified or board‑eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
