Cohen Children’s Medical Center and Zucker School of Medicine of Northwell Health are seeking clinician-educators or clinician-investigators for a Full, Associate, or Assistant Professor position within the Division of General Pediatrics. This role involves contributing to optimal child health and well-being through interdisciplinary research and informing program and policy changes. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative division and have faculty appointments in the Institute of Health System Science within the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research.

  • The Division is expanding to two satellite locations within Queens and Nassau County.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have an M.D. and/or PhD or equivalent degree.
  • Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research.
  • Interest in Advocacy and Community Health, with leadership opportunities in the pediatric residency program, Children and Adolescents with Medical Complexity Transition to Adulthood and Adult Care Services, or Obesity and Weight Management Services.
  • Strong academic credentials and a record or promise of external research funding.
  • Priority will be given to candidates pursuing research relevant to pediatric population health and/or health services research.
  • Priority will be given to those with greater experience following graduate training.
  • Priority will be given to those with an established track record of high impact publication and extramural funding.
  • Interdisciplinary or community-engaged research is strongly encouraged. xqrzhdi
