We’re looking for a dependable Equipment Technician Journey to operate, maintain, and support specialized industrial cleaning equipment at customer job sites. This role plays a key part in delivering safe, efficient service while supporting field operations and ensuring equipment readiness in dynamic environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate industrial cleaning equipment including water blasting and vacuum systems at customer sites.
  • Transport equipment and materials safely to and from job locations.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment, including checking and maintaining proper fluid levels.
  • Assist with minor repairs on vehicles and equipment to ensure continuous operation in the field.
  • Support manual labor tasks such as breaking up materials, water blasting surfaces, and vacuuming debris.
  • Lance pipes, tubes, and confined areas using specialized equipment as required by job scope.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, inspected, and prepared prior to returning to the branch.
  • Collaborate with field teams to complete jobs efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and adapt to changing job site conditions and priorities.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements during operations.

 

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or industrial training preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL strongly preferred.
  • 7–8 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation, maintenance, or industrial services preferred.
  • Experience with water blasting, vacuum equipment, or wash trucks; MPW equipment certifications preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and perform continuous heavy manual labor throughout 8–12+ hour shifts.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces or at varying heights.
  • Ability to wear required PPE including respirators and work in environments with dust, chemicals, fumes, noise, and weather extremes.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods (days to weeks), work overtime, and respond to 24/7 emergency callouts.
