This 30-bed critical access hospital in southwestern New Mexico is looking for a full-time permanent MT/MLT with blood bank experience.

Descriptions

– Performs laboratory specimen testing, analysis, and reporting.

– Prepares specimens, calibrates and maintains instruments, and assists in all areas of the lab, as needed.

– Reports test results promptly, accurately and proficiently.

– Assists in other areas of the lab, and performs phlebotomy, as needed.

– Provides patient care, in collaboration with the patient, family and healthcare providers.

– Assists with ordering supplies.

Qualifications

– Minimum Bachelor’s Degree

– Medical Technologist, Registered by ASCP or AMT

– Experience with computer software installation and testing of new applications

– Blood bank experience
